It's a Beautiful Morning.....

We went for a walk today, what a beautiful day. The birds are singing, the flowers are beautiful and the air is fresh and clean. An absolutely beautiful day. Blessings to all my friends.

Junior Filling My PawSteps

There is a new kid on the block and he is burning up the sidewalk meeting with the mayor, city officials, newspaper and TV people. He is a real celebrity. I wish him the best of luck as I step aside. His name is Junior. He will be taking over Hero's Hope as the new spokesdog. Here we are doing an event together at WildBirds Unlimited. You will start to see more of Junior and Less of me.

when I am not here anymore.

More readers, I love reading with my friends.

So much has happened this month

Ripley's believe it or not.....I read with over 450 children at Alexander Doniphan School and helped them learn how to be safe around dogs and not get bit. Some dogs are not as patient and nice, and some are not comfortable around children and or don't like people in their space or in their face. It was really fun being with so many kids. They gave me an official school tshirt and hat. I can't wait to go back. I just love the kids. We are having a summer reading date and in the fall hopefully we will have a morning reading club. There is so much to look forward to. I love reading with the kids. These are the children from Sni-A-Bar elementary, they did a food drive for Hero's Hope Pet-Assist and learned about pet responsibility. More photos later.

It's Not About Me

I guess you have heard the saying "It's Not About Me" you could say that applies to my life. First, I lived only for my owner Carol. I adored her. When she got sick and died, I was lost and depressed. But, then things got better. You will notice that most of the posts on my blog are about my friends and family. Although I love doing things with people and sharing, I love sharing about my friends even more. Today I heard that Mandy, the pointer that was adopted by Meghan went to the top of the St. Louis Arch with her owner, Meghan. I sure hope she sends me photos. Boy, I could not even fit in one of those little elevator seats. I am so happy that Mandy has a new wonderful life with her new owner Meghan. I will share photos if they send any.
